Barbara Barrett is a Labor Law consultant with nearly 30 years of Federal Government service. She is now focusing on guiding employers through the complicated maze of Labor and Wage laws to resolve complex issues. A former United States Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division (USDOL) investigator, Barrett conducted thousands of investigations independent of employers in all areas of law enforced by USDOL WHD, and was recognized for her expertise, knowledge, skill, and enthusiasm in representing the agency at educational outreach seminars and speaking opportunities. Barrett has also established partnerships between state and federal agencies, business communities, universities, and private organizations in order to maximize compliance with Wage and Hour laws.

 

EDUCATION

Barrett graduated from San Diego State University with a BS in Business, and has been recognized by her agency with several exceptional achievement awards.
